Hello From CDI

Hello From CDI

Half Air faith article

Recently on ā€œHalf Air On Air,ā€ Deb and I talked about a music video parody we wanted to make. We had hoped to get that out before the end of 2021, but that didnā€™t happen. We didnā€™t just let it slide, however. No. Unlike the hundreds of things we have on our things-to-do lists that never get done, this was not one of them. We pulled through! We persevered! (I basically woke up one day and said ā€œI think Iā€™m ready to work on that video.ā€) Now, after many long-awaited months, Deb and I are ready to present ā€œHello From CDI.ā€

Deborah is a Clinical Documentation Specialist and the field she works in is called Clinical

Corporate 5K Results

Half Air life article

The Corporate 5K was held a little over a week ago and, as promised, I am writing to give you a wrap-up on my participation and results.

This yearā€™s race boasted the largest participation in the history of this particular 5K, with over 18,000 runners and walkers, one of those participants, of course, being myself. (I wouldnā€™t be surprised if it

You Would Catch A Grenade? Really?

Half Air life article

Several weeks ago, Deborah and I were watching a singing competition show and one of the contestants was given Bruno Marsā€™ Grenade to perform. While speaking about his motivation for the song, the contestant admitted in an interview that he had never been in a relationship where he loved the person so much he would give his life for them. (John 15:13) At this, I paused the show and asked my wife a question.

ā€œWhat do you think is easier (or should I say more realistic), to tell someone you would give your life for them, but chicken out and save yourself if the situation actually did arise; or admit that you

Corporate 5K Update

Half Air life article

A while ago I wrote about signing up for the Corporate 5K Run at work. As I write this that run is about a week away and I thought I would take a moment to give you a quick update.

First, let me catch you up on my diet and weight loss. I have been counting calories as planned and done a fairly decent job of keeping within my goal range, which is to lose 1 pound a week. Of course, some days I go over that limit (especially if I eat a big meal out), but even then I am often able to keep within a range that should maintain my current weight. So far itā€™s been working and I am down nearly twenty pounds! This is more than five pounds
